Methodology

A disciplined process. A clear line of sight.

From the first transaction questions to the final investor briefing, the assessment follows an agreed scope and an explicit evidence trail.

Five steps

Built around your decision.

The target timetable is approximately 10–15 business days. The agreed schedule depends on scope, system complexity, access, and the availability of the target’s technical team.

Material access gaps and emerging issues are raised during the engagement, so they can be addressed while the assessment is in progress.

01

Initial consultation

Understand the acquisition, target company, technology stack, timeline, and the questions that matter to your investment.

02

Scope & secure access

Agree the scope, fixed fee, evidence requirements, and authorized access to code, documentation, and infrastructure information.

03

Technical assessment

Examine architecture, source code, operational practices, security posture, engineering dependencies, and maintainability.

04

Findings & risk analysis

Prioritize findings by technical severity and business impact. Identify assumptions, evidence gaps, and remediation priorities.

05

Investor report & briefing

Receive a structured report and a direct discussion of the findings, transaction implications, and next steps.

Evidence & confidentiality

Careful access. Transparent conclusions.

Sensitive information is handled under agreed confidentiality and security requirements. Access is limited to what is authorized and necessary for the assessment; read-only access is preferred where practical.

The engagement defines approved evidence channels, access arrangements, retention, and deletion expectations. Do not send source code, credentials, or sensitive deal documents through the initial inquiry form.

The report explains what was reviewed, what could not be assessed, and how limitations affect confidence in the findings. Engineering effort estimates include their assumptions and are not guaranteed delivery commitments.
